Academic Assistance
Urban Impact offers academic remediation both during the school year and throughout the summer. Program directors encourage youth to stop by for a visit after school for homework help, while highschoolers may attend the SAT Prep Class.

SAT Classes
The big picture:For a minimal cost, junior and senior high school
students attend 8 weeks of classes which cover a comprehensive review of material and strategies to help the students prepare for the SAT exam. Tutoring is available when necessary.
Time commitment: 8 weeks, 1 1/2 hours per week
Class date: Fall and Spring
Important note: Urban Impact is not ofering SAT prep classes at this time. Check back at a later date to see if the program has resumed.
If you would like to sign up for the SAT prep classes, you must download and review the SAT Prep Class Brochure. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view. If you don't have it, you can get it for free here. This form MUST be signed by a parent or legal guardian and returned to Urban Impact upon its completion.

Students will perform "Much Ado About Nothing" at 8PM on July 26 & 27 and 2PM on July 28 at the August Wilson Center.

This special event for North Side kids and families will be held at Pittsburgh Oliver Citywide Academy. Registration begins at 5:30PM.
