Sara VanKirk

Executive Assistant

Sara is one of the rare Urban Impact employees who has not previously volunteered on the streets of Pittsburgh. That’s because she hails from Charlotte, NC, where she worked for a law firm. At Urban Impact, she says, she is “working for a reward that will outlast this world.” Now that she’s here, she helps to lift up her new home by enabling Pastor Ed to reach, unencumbered, into the community. Sara shares the burdens of day-to-day business functions such as scheduling meetings, composing presentations, responding to email, booking travel, and contacting donors so that Pastor Ed can take care of sharing the Gospel.
