Matthew Mason

Music Coordinator, Performing Arts

Matthew, a California native, had his first experience with Urban Impact as an intern at Summer Day Camp. He had graduated from California Baptist University and had never been to Pittsburgh; now that he's on staff he has made it his home. As the Music Coordinator for the Performing Arts Department, he is responsible for training the Urban Impact Choir and Urban Impact Singers. "I grew up listening to Gospel music by choice. Although my tastes have broadened greatly, Gospel is still my favorite." Matthew is thankful that his job is directly connected to his divine purpose. "Every day I know that all the time and hard work that I give is all for the Lord."

Matthew lives in Penn Hills.
